The release notes, regulatory compliance and safety information, user guides, and technical manuals for Cisco products are available online at www.cisco.com. The steps below explain how to access documentation.

How to Find Customer Documents Online

Cisco documentation is generally organized online as follows:

User guides—Product > version number > document title

In general, to locate release notes or user guides whose part number is unknown:

1. In your browser's URL field, type www.cisco.com to access the Cisco home page.

2. In the upper right Search field, enter the product name and release number (for example, 12404 12.0(30)S).

3. From the drop-down menu under the Search field, choose Tech Support and Docs.

4. To begin your search, click the Go button.

5. Choose the appropriate document (release note or technical manual) from the search results.

Finding Cisco Regulatory Compliance and Safety Information Documents Online

To find Cisco Regulatory Compliance and Safety Information (RCSI) documents online:

1. In your browser's URL field, type www.cisco.com to access the Cisco home page.

4. To begin your search, click the Go button.

A link to the appropriate RCSI document appears as the first item in the search results.
